Hire Info

Adult costume hire starts from $45 including most accessories you choose (hats, props, jewelry, most wings, weapons etc).

Children's hire costumes are $35.

Boot and shoe hire starts from $15 with a costume or $25 without a costume.

Wig hire starts from $10 with a costume or $20 without a costume.

All standard washing, cleaning and ironing is included in the hire price.

Minimum hire is $20.

We recommend that you book your costume as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! We take a security deposit upon booking and file the costume away for you until your pick up day no matter how far ahead (unlike many smaller stores). This way no one gets to wear your booked costume, you take it the way you tried it on!

A Security Deposit is paid on top of the hire charge starting from $20 & varies between costumes; this deposit is refunded on return of the hired costume providing the the terms and conditions have not be breached. The security deposit is a good will incentive and does not cover replacement cost of the costumes.

The cost of replacement or repair of any item hired is the responsibility of the customer.

Costumes or items hired Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday are due back Thursday 5pm. Costumes or items hired on Thursday, Friday or Saturday are due back Monday 5pm.. Seasonal Costumes such as Santa's, Easter Bunnies etc are an overnight hire due to high demand. Extended hire or early pickup is available (conditions apply). If you don't live on the Sunshine Coast or are going a way you can arrange to post your costume back to us.

Terms and Conditions

1.       Late returns are charged at $10 per day per costume until returned; full hire charges apply after 3 days.

2.       Damages or losses are to be paid for at replacement cost.

3.       Marked/soiled/damaged items will attract a minimum of $20 maintenance charge.

4.       Items that are so badly damaged/soiled will be charged for at replacement cost

5.       Altering our costumes or item in ANY way without authorisation is NOT allowed. This includes re-sizing and re-hemming.

6.       We DO NOT accept items left outside our door outside trading hours.

7.       All returning items must be inspected and signed for.

8.       HIRING IS AT RISK OF THE HIREE OR WEARER.

9.       Costumes Galore will not be responsible for losses, injuries or damages incurred to persons, animals or property by the hiree or user of the goods.

10.   Security deposit s refunded only when ALL HIRED items are returned complete and in good order.

11.   We charge a $20 refitting fee to swap a booked costume we are holding.

12.   NON RETURN OF COSTUMES IS THEFT.

 

HIRE PAYMENTS ARE REFUNDABLE BY STORE CREDIT, IF CANCELLED 14 DAYS PRIOR TO PICK UP DATE. NO REFUNDS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF PICK UP DATE. ALL ITEMS ARE CLASSIFIED AS HIRED ONCE THEY LEAVE OUR PREMISES. ALL CANCELLATIONS WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF SECURITY DEPOSIT.
