Costumes For Hire

Finding a costume to hire for yourself, your partner or your child is easy with the wide selection of costumes that we have on display. You will find our hire process and prices fair so you can enjoy a smooth, worry-free experience.

Adult costume hire is capped at $80 for a standard 3–4-day hire, in other words if you pick up your costume Thursday, Friday or Saturday it is due to be returned the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

Late returns do attract a fee as per our terms and conditions as stated on each invoice. There is also a security bond of $50 that is payable for each costume hired and is refunded upon safe return of the costume/s.

Children's costume hire is capped at $50 for a standard 3-4 day hire and the same terms & conditions apply as the adult hire. If a costume is only needed for 24 hours and can be returned the next working day, the hire is only half the standard price. The full security bond still applies.

The costume hire price usually does not include accessories such as wigs, masks, hats, shoes and jewellery unless they come as a costume hire package and are on display with the costume.

If extra cleaning is required a fee of $30 is payable. Extended hire is also available and costs half of a standard costume hire so for adults- $40 children- $25

Mascot and Santa suit hire is charged at $130 for a standard 3-4 day hire plus a $50 security bond which is refundable.

Costumes may be booked in advance; you pay a holding deposit of $50 which is your security bond. Lost costumes or costumes that are returned in poor condition (beyond repair) will incur a replacement charge. Failure to return hired costumes and/or accessories will be classed as 'theft" and will be handed over to our collection agency for recovery.

A driver's license, passport or proof of age card is required before any hire or hire booking can be completed.

We have more costumes available than any other costume provider on the Sunshine Coast and we strive our best to assist you to find what you are looking for. We encourage booking early. Please don't leave it until the last minute to start looking.

Costumes Galore has new extended trading hours (Thursday & Friday nights till 8 pm) for your convenience. This will definitely benefit the customers who usually work long hours and tend to leave things to the last minute.
